Movie Night at Fair Park - December 8

Get ready for a jolly good time under the stars at Fair Park's Movie Night in the Park! This festive season, we're bringing the holiday magic to you with a special showing of the heartwarming classic, ""The Grinch""! Free pictures with Santa, warm hot cocoa and coffee from Cafe Ciro, and holiday craft activities await. Movie starts at 6:30 p.m. but arrive early for free activities and music starting at 5:30 p.m.

Esta temporada festiva, te traemos la magia de las festividades con una proyección especial del conmovedor clásico "El Grinch". Holiday at the Farm - Samuell Farm - December 9

The Dallas Park and Recreation Department is thrilled to present the 3rd annual "Holiday at the Farm," a festive, family-friendly holiday event at Samuell Farm! Join us for a magical afternoon featuring an artisan gift market, food vendors, a holiday hayride, festive music and stage performances, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a snow hill and lots of reindeer games!

Kiest Park is your holiday wonderland! Join Dallas Park and Recreation, Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn King Arnold, and community partners for a festive holiday in the park! Come out to Kiest Softball Complex on Saturday, December 9 from 4-8 p.m. for a FREE family-friendly event full of holiday cheer!

Drive through Kiest Park and enjoy the magical holiday lights! *Free* family fun with lots of places to take some great family photos! Light display will be illuminated Sunday - Thursday 5:30 – 9 p.m.; Friday - Saturday 5:30 – 10 p.m. through January 2.

There is magic in the air and Dallas Park and Recreation wants you to capture the moment. We are bringing the magic to life with our holiday photo opportunities across the city. Experience the nostalgia in a vintage Santa sleigh at Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center, hug the giant teddy bear at Kidd Springs Park, or catch the twinkle of life size ornament stacks at Samuell Grand Park or Bachman Lake Park. Whether you choose one or all four, you are guaranteed to find some of the holiday magic with family and friends right here in Dallas!

Dallas Arboretum Christmas Village 

Holiday at the Arboretum returns with a garden transformed for the magic of the season including the return of our beloved Christmas Village, the 12 Days of Christmas, and our Dazzling Musical Tree! This exhibit is open daily and every Monday–Wednesday evening.

Dallas Zoo Lights

Experience the magic of the "Dallas Zoo Lights" as the zoo transforms into a winter wonderland with over one million twinkling lights. This is a walk-thru event to see holiday lights, all animals will be asleep for the night during this time. Dallas Zoo lights will run through January 2 from 5:30 – 10 p.m. Must purchase tickets to attend.
